Sew Real

I love handmade cards, they're so much fun to make and give. I used my mom's sewing machine to make a card and an envelope for Andrew. My favorite childhood bedtime story was The Velveteen Rabbit, by Margery Williams. It's about how a velveteen rabbit becomes real through the love that the little boy has for him. I typed out my favorite excerpt from the book and sewed a printed bunny on it. Don't you love the effect that the zig zag stitching gives it?
